Brian Marvin, Member

Brian Marvin, our military relations liasion, retired from the Army after spending 20 years on active duty.  He started his Army career as a 19K Armored Crewmember and ended in recruiting. Prior to joining the Army he wrestled in HS and at Miami of Ohio University. Brian was assigned to various locations around the United States while serving in the Army. While assigned to the 160th SOAR(A) in Ft. Campbell, KY, he also served as a combatives instructor and was a BJJ Coach for 5th SFG(A). He is MACP level 4 qualified and SOCP qualified. He served in Iraq and Afghanistan during his time on active duty. Since retiring, he owns and operates a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy in Sugar Land, TX, Gracie Barra Sugar Land.  He was promoted to Black Belt in 2011 by Master Carlos Gracie Jr. and is currently a 2nd Degree Black Belt under Vinicius “Draculino” Magalhaes.
